John Jones

JONES, John D.-- Age 62, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 8, 2015. A private funeral service will be held, Friday, December 11, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. James Wylie and William Wylie Jr. officiating. Burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flushing. John was born in Flint, Michigan on April 2, 1953, the son of Darwin and Nancy (Taylor) Jones. He was a loving and caring son, brother, and uncle. He was a hard worker with a heart of gold. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting knives, guns and repairing guns. He was a man of all trades and could fix anything. John worked on oil rigs in Texas and was a ranch hand. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Jones of Flint; sister, Ann (Greg) Lambert of Gaines; brothers; David (Denise) Jones of Flushing, Robert Jones of Flint, Thomas Jones of Flint; sister Jennifer (William) Wylie of Swartz Creek; many nieces and nephews.
