John Joseph HORAK

HORAK, John Joseph, age 95, of Linden, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at Brians House, Davison. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Rev. Don Neuville officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 11:00a.m.-3:00p.m. and Sunday 1:00-6:00p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Loose Center, Linden in John's memory. John was born December 18, 1915 the son of the late John Joseph and Elizabeth Horak. He married Elizabeth Mosher on June 7, 1941 and she preceded him in death on May 30, 2010. He was employed by A.C. as a machine repairman until his retirement. John liked to paint and enjoyed woodworking and always had a project going. He also loved spending time at the Loose Center, Linden. Surviving are his 3 daughters, June Torrey of Fenton, Elizabeth Affeldt of Fenton, Patricia Sipes of Burton; grandchildren, Cindy Kinne, Kelly Torrey, John Affeldt, Laura Fortney, Debra Paranillo, Dawn Krause, Diana Velthoven, Deena Karayans, Danielle Mullins; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
