John H. 'Bo' Hensley

HENSLEY,  John H. (Bo), age 79 of Flint Twp., died at Willowbrook Manor, Tuesday, August 8, 2006.  Mr. Hensley was born in Paragould, Arkansas on November 18, 1926 the son of Jesse and Mabel (Tabor) Hensley.  He lived in the Flint area most of his lifetime.  He had been employed at Darin & Armstrong for many years, retiring in 1983.  He was a proud member of the Ironworkers Union Local 25. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a great passion for fishing and canning peppers.  Surviving is his daughter; Pam Marme and husband Steve of Flint and his son; William Hensley and wife Deidra of Swartz Creek. Also surviving are three grandsons; Eric Middleton and wife Briana, Jason and Christopher Hensley, a great-grandson; Gage Middletton. A sister Mary Scobey of Swartz Creek and a brother; Jack Hensley and wife Ruby of Swartz Creek. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral sevices will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, August 11, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Grand Blanc Twp., 6063 Fenton Rd. Rev. J D Landis officiating.  Cremation will follow with interment of cremated remains at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
