John R. GAUSS, JR.

Our Almighty God called John Gauss, Jr. home on June 1, 2012. John is survived by his parents John and Jean, sister Susannah, brothers Gregory (wife Aline), Christopher (wife Deborah) and his soul mate Tammy O'Brien. He is also survived by two step sons Nick and Mark Bellinger both who are serving in the US Navy. John attended West Bloomfield High School graduating in 1981. He pursued a career in radio graduating in 1983 from Spec's Howard School of Broadcasting Arts. He was top in his class and returned to the school to speak at future commencements. He had jobs in Scottville, Mi., Ludington, Mi., and Houghton Lake, Mi. Seeking to better himself he went back to school and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1990. His technological knowledge and experience in Radio Frequency Identification Devices with Balogh took him to many places in the United States, Canada and Europe. As successful as he was in his career John's life long dream was to get his pilot's license. He achieved this in Jan. 2008. He was his happiest when thinking about flying or actually doing it.
