Gallagher, John J. 'Jack'- Age 73, of Lake Fenton, died, December 8, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.  Funeral mass will be celebrated 12 Noon Saturday, December 13, 2003 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Fr. David Harvey celebrant.  Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery, with military honors under the auspices of Fenton V.F.W. Curtis Wolverton Post 3243. Visitation 5-9PM Thursday and 1-9PM Friday at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., with a vigil service at 7PM Friday.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John Educational Fund, Mount Carmel High School Memorial Fund, 6410 S. Cincinnati, OH  45207-7730.  Jack was born November 28, 1930 in Chicago,  the son of Thomas and Anna (McNicholas) Gallagher.  He married Annie Laurie Bansley December 28, 1954 in Chicago.  He had resided in Lake Fenton since 1969 coming from Chicago.  He graduated from Mount Carmel High School, Chicago and  earned a BS from Xavier University in 1952.  He was a veteran of the Korean War serving as a Captain in the US Army.  He had been employed by AM International Inc.  where he attained  ' 100 Club Life Membership' status. In 1988 he accepted a position with Talisman Incentives and Promotions, Inc. where he was the top salesman in the Mid Michigan Region.  He was a parishioner at  St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where he was a member of the founding committee for the St. John Applefest.  He was also a member of the  Knights of Columbus Council 7418. He was Grand Marshall of the Flint St. Patrick's Day Parade in 1993 and the Irish Father of the year in 2003.  Jack was a past member of the Lake Fenton Athletics Boosters and  Lake Fenton School Board.  He was the 'Voice of the Blue Devils athletics for the past 30 years, and was the Grand Marshall of the Lake Fenton Homecoming parade in 2003.  He also was a member of the ROMEO Club, and was a  volunteer for FARR and Junior Achievement.  Surviving are: wife, Annie Laurie; 7 children, John J. Jr. and wife Marla of Seattle, WA, Lauriann and husband Terry Powers of Grand Rapids, James and wife Danielle of Lafayette, CA, Thomas and wife Molly Jean of Ann Arbor, Daniel and Paulette Kellogg of Diamondale, Michael and wife Cathy of Kentwood, Matthew and wife Ranae of Grand Blanc.  13 grandchildren, Meghan, Tom, Joey, Suzanne, Jack III, Danielle, Hannah, Danny, Erin, Elle, Codi, Maci, Claire; 2 brothers, Francis and wife Colleen of Oaklawn, IL and Eugene and wife Ginger of Clarendon Hills, IL; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the health care professionals at McLaren Regional Medical Center in CCU, ICU, TCU, and Doctors Eugene Chardoul and Trevor Singh.  Friends may share their online condolences with the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
