EISLEY, John Morris - age 85, of Fenton, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton with Rev. E. Taveirne officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to CROP Walk. Mr. Eisley was born August 16, 1923 in Auglaize County, OH, the son of John M. and Elva (Metzger) Eisley. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. Mr. Eisley received a bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technical University and a Masters degree in Education from Eastern Michigan University. He married Louise Newton on June 10, 1950 and she preceded him in death in 1999. Mr. Eisley retired from Mott Community College in 1989. He was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church. Surviving are: four children, Benjamin (Barbara) Eisley, Kim Ferris, John (Karen) Eisley, Kristine Reynolds; seven grandchildren, Sadie, Gloria, Marjorie, Katie, Ryan, Vaughn, Kyle, and Paige; three great-grandchildren, Chance, Kelsey, and Kim; sister, Sarah Ann Long.
