John Dyer

DYER, John C. - 79, of Flint, died Friday, July 17, 2015 at McLaren - Flint. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Faith Missionary Church, 1327 Elms Rd., Flint. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Saturday. Mr. Dyer was born November 22, 1935 in Flint, the son of Alfred and Janet (Sharpe) Dyer. He married Janie Raasio on November 5, 1966. Mr. Dyer was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an electrician with IBEW Local # 948 and retried from Universal Systems in 1998. He enjoyed woodcarving with other men at the Flushing Senior Center. Surviving are: wife, Janie; five children, Danielle Callen, Kathleen (Derek Watson) Dyer, John (Angela) Dyer II, Bethany (Michael) Breeden, Mary (Matthew) Cobbett; five grandchildren, Hailey and Gabriella Dyer, Lilly, Paige and Jacob Breeden; three siblings, Allan (Melody) Dyer, Norman (Ann) Dyer and Arlene Koblasz; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
