DYBATA, John Edward -- Age 83, of Howell, died June 30, 2009 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Friday, July 3 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Fausett Rd., Howell, Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrant. Family and friends will gather at the church after 10:00 AM Friday. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. A Scripture service will be at 7 PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714. Mr. Dybata was born June 23, 1926 in Punxsutawney, PA the son of Vincent and Helen (Baranik) Dybata. He married Katherine Malcharek on October 12, 1949 in Detroit. Mr. Dybata was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He was a brick layer and farmer. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Surviving are: wife Katherine; son, John Jr. and wife Donna of Howell; five grandchildren, Christine Dybata of TN, Laurie Dybata of Howell, Amy and husband Tom Welch of Brighton, Jennifer Dybata of Howell, Sarah Dybata of Howell.
