DYBATA, John Edward -- Age 83, of Howell, died June 30, 2009 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Friday, July 3 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Fausett Rd., Howell, Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrant. Family and friends will gather at the church after 10:00 AM Friday. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. A Scripture service will be at 7 PM Thursday. Mr. Dybata was born June 23, 1926 in Punxsutawney, PA the son of Vincent and Helen (Baranik) Dybata. He married Katherine Malcharek on October 12, 1949 in Detroit. Mr. Dybata was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He was a brick layer and farmer. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Surviving are: wife Katherine; son, John Jr. and wife Donna of Howell; five grandchildren, Christine Dybata of TN, Laurie Dybata of Howell, Amy and husband Tom Welch of Brighton, Jennifer Dybata of Howell, Sarah Dybata of Howell.
