Deal, John Michael III "Mike" - Age 70, of Flint Township, died January 30, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, February 5 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Fr. Ryan Riley celebrant. Interment 2 PM Wednesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with a 7 PM Vigil service. John "Mike" was born October 28, 1949 in Flint the son of John L. Deal and Joyce Elizabeth (Clement) Deal. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He married Norine Kay Clements on February 17, 1968 in Flint; she preceded him in death April 18, 2011. Mike worked as a Car Hauler for Complete Auto Transit and then Allied, retiring in January 2008 with 32 years of service. He was a Union Steward and Business Agent with Local 614 and a member and Union Steward with Local 332. He was an avid bowler and golfer. Mike enjoyed attending his grandchildren's activities and traveling with his family. He enjoyed classic cars and motorcycles. Surviving are: two daughters, Mileah K. (Chris) Hoffman of Holly, Jennifer Lynn Deal (Corey Ladd) of Flint; two grandchildren, Grant Michael Hoffman and Ambrielle Lauren Hoffman; sister Cindy (Ron) Roman; sister-in-law Lynn (Ralph) Biber; brothers-in-law, Larry (Tina) Clements, Robert (Renee) Clements; many nieces, nephews, special friends; and companion Cathy Robison. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norine Kay Deal; mother, Joyce Elizabeth Deal, father, John L. "Jack" Deal; step-mother, Eleanor Deal; infant son, John Michael Deal IV; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Mabel Clements. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
