John Richard CUTCHEY

CUTCHEY, John Richard - Age 86, of Fenton, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 7, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Rev. Josh Hoover officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. John was born March 21, 1925 in Detroit, the son of Frederick V. and Elsie E. (Bloomfield) Cutchey. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Air Force. He married Doris Chopping February 4, 1950 in Ferndale and she preceded him in death November 15, 2009. John had resided in Fenton since 1992 coming from Southfield. He was a member of St. Jude Episcopal Church, Fenton and the American Legion. Surviving are: 3 children, Kevin Cutchey of Fenton, Susan and husband Glen Anderson of Brighton and Barbara and husband Douglas McLennan of Morrice; 9 grandchildren, Ian, Kyle, Drew, Loralee, William, Nathan, Aaron, Steve and Danielle.
