COOPER, John Barlow, age 58, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral Services will be 6:00PM Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. The family will receive friends 2:00PM Tuesday until time of service. John was born May 20, 1954 in Richmond Heights, MO the son of the late John Joseph and Mary Alice (Clark) Cooper. He attended St. Matthew's, Flint and graduated from Powers High School in 1972. John then earned his Bachelor Degree from Notre Dame and later received his Master's Degree from the University of Michigan. He was a life resident of the Flint and Fenton area. John enjoyed reading, hunting and golfing. In addition, he liked growing pine nut and chestnut trees up north. Surviving are his brother, James Cooper and wife, Nurgul of Grand Blanc; 2 nephews, Joseph and Thomas; sister, Bridget Cooper of East Lansing.
