John Comer

COMER, John B. Sr. - Age 79, passed on Thursday December 30, 2021 at his home in Inverness, Florida. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday January 12 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 4 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born in St. Francis, Arkansas October 21, 1942. John graduated form Flint Southwestern High School. He served in The National Guard.

Survivors include his wife Janett Comer of nearly 57 years, two children John (Matthew Ciszewski) Comer, Robyn (Jeff) Moore, Grandchildren Nick Epperson, Cheyenne (Brandon) Bonasse, Dylan Schatz, Ethan Moore, and Bryce Moore. Great-Grandson Bailey Bonasse. Many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his mom and dad Daniel (Laura Mae) Comer, Sisters Sheila (Jerry) LaFerney, Sandra (Dennis) Dority, Easter Horton, and Myrna (Donald) Lynch.

John was an avid golfer, bowler, and all around sportsman. When Michigan State was playing, you dared not call the house. John was a soft spoken man, with a love for his family. Especially his wife, children, grand and great-grandchildren. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
