CHUPEK, John Thomas, Sr.  Age 75, of Linden, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at his residence after a longtime heart illness. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, March 13, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Pastor Jim Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Linden Free Methodist Church. John was born November 10, 1928 in Butler, PA, the son of Florian and Anna (Fucho) Chupek. He married Beatrice Marlene Berkoben on January 10, 1953 in New Kensington, PA. Mr. Chupek established Refuse Removal of Flint, which he owned and operated for over 40 years. Surviving are: wife, Beatrice Marlene Chupek; three children, John Thomas Chupek, Jr. and wife Dawn of Richmond, VA, Walter William Chupek and friend Vonda of Mt. Morris, Dolores Darlene Bedell and husband Tim of Linden; five grandchildren, LCPL Timothy Bedell II and fiancâ?se Jill Henrich of Linden; Hillary Ann Chupek and fiancâ?s Brian Merten of Richmond, VA, John Thomas Chupek III of Richmond, VA, Christina Marie Bedell of Linden, Jason Chupek of Davison; two sisters, Mary Pukal and Wilma Pukal; several  nieces and nephews.
