John Casper

CASPER, John Edward- Age 66, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, January 18, 2016. Funeral services will be held 3PM Friday, January 22, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 5-8PM Thursday and 12PM until time of service Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. John was born in South Bend, Indiana the son of the late Charles and Helene (Zigler) Casper. Mr. Casper married Nancy Whitcomb in Swartz Creek on November 21, 2009. John honorably served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Beaver Aerospace and Defense with 27 years of service. John collected and enjoyed playing the guitar. Surviving are: wife Nancy of Swartz Creek; children, Robert (Katherine) Casper of FL, Wendy (Rod) Meyer of Grand Blanc, Jamie (Mark Brock) Jones of Midland, Krystal Kelly of Durand; 18 grandchildren and sister, Judy (Don) Sieffert of Grand Ledge.
