John Bodnar

BODNAR, John S. - Age 89, of Linden, passed away September 8, 2022. Services will be held 10AM Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to Leader Dogs for the Blind. John was born March 6, 1933 in Trenton, PA, the son of John and Helen (Davidek) Bodnar. He was married to Joanne Parks on September 18, 1965 in Flint. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; son, Jeff (Kimberly) Bodnar and Jacqueline Bodnar; grandchildren, Emma (Jedd), Claire, Simon, Kiersten (Max), Kendra (Chris) and Derrek (Kendra); great-grandchildren, Grey, Arden, Nora and Esther; sister, Bernadine Less. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dan and David; sister, Linda.
