John Frederick Binns

BINNS, John Frederick- age 89, of Fenton, passed away September 6, 2024. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation 12:00 PM until the time of Service 2:00 PM Saturday. Memorial Contributions in John's memory would be appreciated to the American Heart Association. 

John was born November 25, 1934 in Detroit, the son of Gerald and Edna (Fischer) Binns. John graduated from Roosevelt High School,Ypsilanti in 1953. He next graduated from U of M Ann Arbor in 1958. John was employed by GM as an Automotive Engineer starting his career in 1959. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and the A.O.P.A. Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. John was the "best dog dad ever' to McGee, Heidi, and Moxie.

John is survived by his wife, Carole; children, Laura Binns, Karen Binns Semerau, David (Erica) Binns; and Rebecca Payne; grandchildren, John (Katie) Manners, Stephen (Bridget) Manners, Nicholas (Abby) Manners, Robert Semerau, and Samantha Semerau, Madeline Payne, and Morgan Payne; great grandchildren, Zeke, Novalie, Freya, Martha Kay; sister, Barbara (Hal) Hagadorn; and nephews, Gregory, Patrick, and Jeff (Norma).
