John William Anderson

ANDERSON, John William - age 44, of Grayling, formerly of Linden, died Thursday, February 15, 2007 after a short but courageous battle with brain cancer. Services will be held 1 PM Monday, February 19, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Rev. Don Neuville officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Saturday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. John was born November 8, 1962 in Flint, the son of Victor and Linda (Green) Anderson. He was the owner and operator of JWA Industries specializing in industrial heating and cooling. John married Calley Voeks on September 24, 2005. John enjoyed working on the house and in the yard at their home up north. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting and the outdoors. Surviving are: wife, Calley of Grayling; their expected daughter, Alyssa Leslie Anderson, due on June 13, 2007; his parents, Victor and Linda Anderson. He was preceded in death by: his sisters, Leslie and Suzanne Anderson in 1975.
