Johannah Dortch

DORTCH, Johannah B. - age 84, of Grand Blanc, died Monday, June 4, 2018. A celebration of life will be held. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org). Johannah was born October 6, 1933 in Lansing, the daughter of Ronald and Dorothea (Spaulding) Beurmann. She was a graduate of Michigan State University and married Louis C. Dortch on June 12, 1954. Johannah lived in Grand Blanc, spending many years on Lake Fenton and wintering in Hobe Sound, FL. Surviving are: husband, Louis C. Dortch, Sr. of Grand Blanc; four daughters, Debbie and husband, David Motter of Grand Blanc, Amy and husband, Richard Berthiaume of Grand Blanc, Patsy and husband, Matthew Dillon of Grand Blanc, and Polly Conlan of Grand Blanc; son, Louis C. Dortch, Jr, and wife, Denise of Grand Blanc; seven grandchildren, Michael, Theo, Elizabeth, Chad, Max, Chelsea and Madison; five great-grandchildren, Johannah, Makayla, Mathilda, Valerie, and Fletcher; sister-in-law, Sidney Beurmann of East Lansing. She was preceded in death by: her parents; and two brothers, Eric Beurmann and Spaulding Beurmann. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp.
