Joel William Berlin

BERLIN, Joel William -- Age 33, of Swartz Creek, passed quietly into the arms of his Heavenly Father on October 27, 2007. A celebration of his life will be 11 AM Thursday, November 1 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment in Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Tuesday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Joel Berlin Memorial Fund. Joel was born January 20, 1974 in Flint the fourth child of Charles and Carolyn Sue Berlin. He lived in Swartz Creek his entire life and was a 1992 graduate of Swartz Creek Community Schools. Joel married the love of his life Melissa Ann Sabin on March 24, 1999 and they introduced to the world Kelsey and Aidan Berlin. Joel enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his family and a host of friends. Joel's life will forever be cherished by: his wife Melissa; his daughter, Kelsey; his son Aidan;father Charles and wife Cindy of Swartz Creek; mother Carolyn Sue Berlin of Swartz Creek; siblings, Charles John (Deborah) Berlin, Theodore Berlin, Kimberly (Randy) Fox, Jason (Tracy) Varner, Erica (Brett) Ockerman, Kenny Childs; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Delbert and Jeanette Sabin; sister-in-law, Tamara (James) Palmer, Laura (Derrick)Link; many nieces and nephews.
