Joe Flores

Flores, Joe E. - Age 69, of Fenton, died May 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 31 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Pastor Ron Sharp officiating. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, May 30. After services in Fenton he will be transferred to Las Vegas, New Mexico where a visitation will be 1-4 PM Sunday, June 2 at the Gonzalez Funeral Home, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd., Las Vegas, NM 87701, he then will be transferred to Our Lady of Sorrow for a 7 PM rosary Sunday. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 8 AM Monday June 3 at Our Lady of Sorrows, 403 Valencia St., Las Vegas, NM followed by interment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Joe was born Jose Eugenio Flores on April 2, 1950 in Las Vegas, NM, the son of Ignacio and Agapita (Lopez) Flores. He retired in 1987 as Master Gunnery Sergeant for the U.S. Marine Corps with 20 years of service. Surviving are two children, Jose (Kasi) Flores II of Richland, NC; Consuelo Flores Beamer of Fenton; mother of his children, Connie Robertson; grandchildren, Tyler, Landen, Clayten, Benicio, and Manuel; sister Dolores O'Neal of Oklahoma; brothers, Pete Flores of Dearborn and Nash Flores of Oklahoma.
