Jodie Baker

BAKER, Jodie Anne "JoJo" - Age 44, of Swartz Creek, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022.  Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Shiawassee County, 2005 Copas Road, Owosso, MI 48867 or the Belinda Sue Fund, belindasuefund.org.

Jodie was born June 21, 1978 in Southfield, the daughter of Kelvin Edward and Linda Mary (Robbins) Baker.  She was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School and attended Mott Community College.  She had resided in the Swartz Creek area her entire life.  Jodie was employed by Magna Electronics in Holly; she also was a bartender and office manager.  She enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions and Michigan State University football.  She also enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews, and friends.

Surviving are: her parents, Kelvin "Butch" and Linda Baker of Swartz Creek; sister, Amy Baker of Swartz Creek; nephew, Justin (Sara) Svinarich of Flint; nieces, Kaelin Baker of Swartz Creek and Ella Baker of Swartz Creek; and great nephews, Ethan and Kelvin.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
