STRATTON, Joanne - 78, of Fenton, died Thursday, May 9, 2013. Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 17, 2013 at St. Jude Episcopal Church, 106 E. Elizabeth St., Fenton. Pastor Josh Hoover officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3-9 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice Advantage. Joanne was born February 25, 1935 in Flint, the daughter of William Joseph and Evelyn Ione (Smith) Baker. She married Richard T. Stratton September 22, 1956 in Flint. She had resided in Fenton since 1957 coming from Flint. Joanne was a member of St. Jude Episcopal Church where she was active in the Women's Guild and Parish Pairs. Surviving are: husband, Richard; 2 children, Lynn and husband John Toth of Fenton and Mitchell Stratton and Leslie Owens of Jacksonville, FL; 4 grandchildren, John R. Toth and Jessica Boyer of Chicago, IL, David Toth of Chicago, IL, Melissa and husband Bryan Burt of Howell, and Jennifer and husband Tim Pavkovich of Clarkston; sister, Frances Bray of Bethune, SC; brother, Charles and wife Bonnie Baker of Bethune, SC; several nieces and nephews.
