DOBROMIL, Joanne E. (Rust) - of Swartz Creek, died Monday, January 23, 2012. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 AM Friday, January 27, 2012 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Fr. Bill Wegher celebrant. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday, 12-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and from 10:30 AM until the time of Mass Friday at the church. A rosary will be prayed 7 PM Thursday. Joanne was born April 22, 1933 in Flint, the daughter of William and Sophie (Bonk) Rust. She was married to Grigor Dobromil in 1955 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Flint. In her earlier years she was an avid bingo player. She was also the Family Historian, "weather person" and recipe collector. Surviving are: husband, Grigor "George"; son, Michael Dobromil; daughter, Diane (Mike) Kleinedler; grandchildren, Stefanie and Mitchell Dobromil; sisters, Marjorie (Jerry) Conley, Caroline (Arthur) Thomas; brother, Raymond (Julie) Rust; a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Florence Jozwiak and Gloria Reynolds; brothers, Mack Rust and Anthony "Tony" Rust.
