BROOKS-HUNT, Joanne E.  Age 67, of Burton, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 25, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Pastor Jim Salo officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation (www.marf.org). Joanne was born November 17, 1937 in Flint. She is the daughter of John and Anne (Reynolds) Deguise. She married Robert Hunt. Joanne retired from AC Sparkplug in 1993 and was a member of U.A.W. Local #651. She enjoyed children and spending time with her family. Surviving are: husband, Robert of Burton; four children, Gayle (Doran) Berry of Burton, Lawrence Brooks (Deborah Woodworth) of Flint, Brooke Morrison, (her maternal granddaughter and adopted daughter), Britney Stevens, both of Burton; mother, Anne DeGuise of Davison; step-children, Lori (Kevin) Brocker of Davison, Julie (Pierre) King of Lapeer, Patrick (Kathy) Hunt of Imlay City, Paula (Robert) Pender of Lapeer; five grandchildren, Vickie Berry, Christopher Berry, Katie and Kelly Brooks; eight step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph (Kathy) DeGuise of Davison; sisters-in-law, Sally DeGuise of Henderson, AR, Laura DeGuise of Burton; special friend, Barbara (Gordon) Bard. She was preceded in death by: daughter, Toni Morrison; two siblings, Johnny and Louis DeGuise; father, John DeGuise.
