KENT, JoAnn Marie, age 76, of Grand Blanc, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be 11AM Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Pastor David Yelland officiating. Visitation will be 6-8PM Thursday; and 1-4 and 6-8PM Friday th the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. JoAnn was born October 18, 1933 in Flint the daughter of John and Gertrude (Fornoff) McKinstry. She married Elmer Kent July 4, 1954 in Grand Blanc and he preceded her in death on July 28, 2008. Surviving are her 3 children, Sharon Farthing, Clark "Dennis" Kent (Debbie) and John Kent (Tish) all of Grand Blanc; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey, Stacy, Amy (Chris), Dennis (Jennifer); 4 great-grandchildren, Oliva, Madison, Addison and Adam. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; son-in-law, Charles Farthing; and 7 siblings, Don, Geneve, Les, Buelah, Joyce, Evelyn and John.
