Joann K. ESSMANN

Joann K. Essmann ï¿Â½" Age 92 of Linden, formerly of Southfield, died Sunday, October 17, 2010. Joann was born June 5th, 1918, in St. Joseph Missouri. She married William Essmann in July of 1948 and he preceded her in death, July, 2002. She and William owned and operated Essmann Printing Company in Ferndale, Michigan. Joann was dedicated to her family, and was very active in various card clubs and her church. She is also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Arthur (Barbara) Kroll. Surviving are two children, son, Craig Essmann (Linda) of Fenton, and daughter, Elaine Hemphill (Dick) of Hebron Indiana; four grandchildren, Matthew (Jane) Essmann, Kelly (Scott) Pushman, Mark Mayersky, and Tara Mayersky; two step-grandchildren Rick (Stacey) Hemphill, Erika (Vic) Gaskey and two great-grandchildren, Carter and Cole Essmann. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday October 22, 2010 at Northbrook Presbyterian Church, 22055 W 14 Mile Rd, Beverly Hills, Mi.
