Joann Corsiglia

July 1, 1926 — February 24, 2018

Corsiglia, JoAnn - passed away Saturday, February 24, at Tanglewood Memory Care in Fenton, Michigan. JoAnn was born July 1, 1926 and was the daughter of Carl and Eva Austin. She graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University. JoAnn and her husband Joe owned two restaurants in Kalamazoo: the Black Swan, and Corsiglias. They raised four children, Kim, Don, Laurie, and Kerry as well as numerous dogs, cats, horses, and gerbils. JoAnn loved reading, bird watching, and was an amazing amateur artist. She was most passionate however, about her family. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at St. Jude's Episcopal Church, 106 E. Elizabeth St., Fenton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: The Kalamazoo Institute of Art, the Kalamazoo Nature Center, or Hometown Home Health and Hospice.
