STOHLMAN, Joan Ann - age 76 of Grand Blanc, passed away, Sunday April 28, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor James Leonard officiating. Visitation 3-8 PM Tuesday, May 7. Interment at Great lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Contributions would be appreciated to First Baptist Church of Grand Blanc. Joan was born May 6, 1942 in Neptune, NJ the daughter of Warren and Bertha (Erving) Ballard. She was a homemaker and past Girl Scout Leader. Joan was a long time member of First Baptist church of Grand Blanc. She was a gifted oil painter. Surviving are: children, Gerald (Doreen) Stohlman Jr., Jo Anne Stohlman, Lisa (Greg) Code, and Paula Stohlman; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Warren (Joan) Ballard Jr., Carolyn Carlin, and Steven (Pat) Ballard; several nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; sister, Jane Sharpe; and brother, Donald Ballard. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
