Joan Blondell Sisson

Sisson, Joan Blondell - Age 75, of Flint, died September 14, 2024. A private family service will be held at Grace Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. 

Joan was born July 30, 1949 in Missouri the daughter of the late James Sisson and Lillie B. (Lovely) Sisson. She worked as a welder in addition to raising several of her family members, and other kids, over the years. Joan enjoyed butterflies, cooking and being around her family and friends. Ms. Sisson was well known and loved by her community.

Surviving are: five children, Roy, Louis, Erica, Kea and Dea; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, James, Larry, Norman, Ben, and Steve; sister Diana; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Doyle; longtime companion, Matthew James Murray, Jr.; sisters, Michelle, Judy and Doris; brother, Mitchell; step-father, Robert Gordon..
