Longley, Joan Irene - Age 85, of Flint formerly of Saginaw, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Visitation will be held 1PM to 6PM Wednesday April 29, 2015, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Joan was born June 10, 1929 in Monroe, Michigan, the daughter of the late Orville and Joan (Kakoczki) Bressler. She married Jesse O. Longley in Toledo, Ohio on November 8, 1952 and he preceded her in death on June 27, 1988. She retired from Buena Vista School District as a librarian with 20 years of service. She loved collecting Owls, making crafts and enjoyed going to the casino. Surviving are: daughter, Sheryl Dean of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Angela Longley of Flint, Michael (Emily Hamilton) Longley of Flint, Bryanna Dean of Grand Blanc, Cherish Dean of Grand Blanc; great grandchildren, Jacari, Onesti, Kingston; sister, Bonnie (David) Canupp of Monroe; many nieces and nephews.
