Joan Buck

BUCK, Joan Ora - age 81, of Flint, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at Genesee Care Center. A burial of cremated remains will take place 11 AM Monday, February 22, 2016 at Floral Gardens Cemetery in Bay City. Mrs. Buck was born February 28, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of Carl and Grace (Gregoire) Austin. She married Darrell R. Buck on October 6, 1951 and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1961. Mrs. Buck was faithful to her husband and never remarried. She enjoyed her work as a clerk with Genesys Home Health Care and Hospice from 1993 - 2000. Surviving are: two sons, David (Leah) Buck of Davison and Richard (Nancy) Buck of Flint; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Gene) Spinney of Davison. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Paul Buck; grandson, Nathan Buck, and sister, Catherine Dishaw.
