Jimmy Duane Mansfield "The Mayor"

MANSFIELD, Jimmy Duane "The Mayor" - Age 81, of Columbiaville, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Brookdale Grand Blanc. A memorial service will take place at 4:00 PM, Monday, February 12, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Prior to the service a visitation will take place from 2:00PM to 4:00 PM. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. 

Jimmy was born on October 24, 1942 in Pontiac, the son of the late Lehman Mansfield and Irene (Green) Cheadle. He was owner and operator of Mansfield Auto Sales before working for Hank Graff Chevrolet for 20 years as a salesman. Following his career with Hank Graff Jimmy continued his work with Holland Cooling and Heating for several more years. He loved people and was always able to connect with anyone walking through the door. In his free time, Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family, and he loved fishing, golfing, racquetball, basketball, going to the casino and watching his favorite sports teams. 

He is survived by his sons, James Mansfield and Philip Mansfield (Jen); grandchildren, Devin Mansfield, Mason Mansfield and Jessie Spencer; siblings, Gerry Mansfield, Bob (Terri) Mansfield, Bill (Jane) Mansfield, Rick (Linda) Cheadle, David (Jeanne) Cheadle, Donna (Ben) Simons, Dan (Sandi) Cheadle and Linda (Doug) Hall; life partner, Paulina Zayler; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
