CURRY, Â Â Jimmy, age 66, a resident of Genesee, died Monday September 5, 2005 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Jimmy was born on October 11, 1938 in Herman, Arkansas a son of Andrew C. and Frances (Pepper) Curry. Â He has lived in the Flint area all his adult life. Â On March 10, 1962 he married Sharon Cooper in Flint. Â Jimmy retired from General Motors Fisher Guide Division as a fork lift truck driver after 371/2 years. Â He loved the outdoors, but most of all loved his family. Â Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Sharon; 3 sons; Jimmy Curry and wife Dawn of Genesee, Gerald Curry of Genesee and Terrence Curry and wife Anna of Spring, Texas. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren. Â Further survivors include a sister, Evelyn Faulkenberry, 2 brothers; Lester (Joetta) Curry, Leon Curry and a brother-in-law, Harry (Carol) Cooper. Â He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Guy and Clint. Â Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 9, 2005 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (just South of Hill Rd.) Â Rev. Joe Carpenter will officiate and burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Â The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 8 P.M. today and Thursday from 12 noon to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. and Friday from 1:00 P.M. until service time. .
