BOLLINGER, Jimmie Lee "Jim" -- Age 80, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday May 15, 2021. Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday May 21 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Therese Jobe officiating. Burial at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home and again on Friday from 1PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Jim was born March 8, 1941 in Bell City, MO. the son of Cletus and Juanita ( Everhart ) Bollinger. He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1984 coming from Flint. He married Sharon Kay Doyle December 17, 1966 in Flint. He retired from GM Truck and Bus after 29 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local 598. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Lisa (Shaun) Tinker of Flushing; 3 grandchildren, Aleea, Veronica, and Lucas Tinker; his 4 legged companion, Rozie; sister, Kay (Larry) Miller of Clio. He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Jay and Bill Bollinger; sisters Shirley Rasch and Janette Bollinger; daughter, Tina Hargrave. Special thanks to the Amara Hospice Team.
