PELKEY, James Robert "Jim" - age 55, of Lake Worth, FL died Saturday, November 10, 2007. Services will be held 6 PM Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Argentine Nazarene Church, 16248 S. Seymour Rd., Linden with Rev. Ray Croft officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until the time of the service. Jim was born May 3, 1952 in Flint where he graduated high school and received a bachelor's degree from U of M. He had a black belt in Martial Arts, enjoyed scuba diving and giving magic shows for many years as a teen. Jim was a master chess player and worked for the Red Cross. He moved to Florida in 1986. Surviving are: wife, Larisa Pelkey of Lake Worth, FL; son, James Pelkey II of Grand Blanc; stepsons, Earl and Robert Mayhew of Flint; mother, Goldie Pelkey of Linden; sisters, Nancy Steiner (Greg) of Linden, Dena Wolcott (Frank) of Linden, Stephanie Chaney (Fred) of Swartz Creek; brother, Robert Pelkey (Lisa) of Gaines; nieces and nephews, Michelle, Steven, Skylar and Aaron; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
