Jewell I. Spencer

SPENCER, Jewell- Age 85, of Flint, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Genesys Health Park.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday, where a V.F.W. Eaton Rapids, MI  48827.  Jewell was born January 13, 1922 in Pascola Township, Missouri, the daughter of William E. and Vada Victoria (Hall) Martin.  She married Frank E. Spencer  September 14, 1940 in Missouri and he preceded her in death June 13, 1984.  She was a member and past president of the Swartz Creek V.F.W. Auxillary Post #3720 and a member of the Eagles Bumblebee Aerie Flint #629.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  Surviving are: 3 daughters, Sandra, Mary (Dennis) and Cher; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Frank E.
