JOHNSON-BRUNSDEN, Jewell J.  Age 81, of Linden, died Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Riverbend. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Monday, 10-9 PM Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County  Humane Society. Jewell was born August 23, 1924 in Piggott, Arkansas, the daughter of Doc and Julia (Horn) Lingle. She was married to Sidney E. Johnson on February 21, 1942; he preceded her in death on November 24, 1996. She was employed by Grand Blanc Schools and General Motors as a cook. Jewell had lived in Linden since 1967, coming from Grand Blanc. She attended Grand Blanc Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, music, snowmobiling and spending time with family. She is survived by her husband, Edwin Ted Brunsden; daughters, Sandra Jean Montague and husband David of Grand Blanc, Deborah Ann Walsh and husband John of Linden; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; cousin, Marshall Horn of Burton; step-children, Larry and Ted Brunsden. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Johnny; brother, Everitt Lingle; great-granddaughter, Teanna Rachel; step-daughter, Jan Brown.
