Lambaria, Jessie Marie - Age 80, of Mt. Morris, died December 26, 2023 at home surrounded by her family and loved ones. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday December 30 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 Coldwater Road, Flint. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM Friday December 29 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
Jessie was born September 12, 1943 in El Reno, Oklahoma, the daughter of Leo and Pauline (Seymour) Sanchez. She married Leandro Lambaria on July 3, 1960 in Pleasanton, Texas. In 1962 the couple relocated to Flint to be with family and seek employment opportunities. Jessie retired from General Motors-Buick City after many years of service. She dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed traveling with the love of her life. During the last five years she courageously battled many health issues while always only thinking of her family. She was a strong and faith filled woman and is now resting with our Lord.
Surviving are: her husband of 63 years, Leandro "Lee" Lambaria; four children, Angie and Alex Hilburn of Flushing, Mary and David Lambaria-Simpson of Houghton Lake, Michelle and Lesley Lambaria-Ferguson of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Leandro "Lee" Lambaria Jr. (Andrea Cantu) of Burton; grandchildren, Adreanna Hilburn, Amanda (Dan) Herrera, Alexandria (James) Maldonado, Victoria (Tracy) Ross, Gabriella (Marty) LaPratt, Lorena (Matt) Brady, Karissa (Steven) Snyder, Andrew Robson, Alex Madden, Alyssa Vinyard,; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Roy) Halbert; many beloved nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant sons, Fidel and Trinidad; siblings, Carmen Gonzales, Leo Sanchez Jr., Philip Sanchez, and Rosie Solis.
