MOUTRAY, Jesse Lewis - Age 81 of Linden, formerly of Holly, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Freedom Center Church, 2473 W. Shiawassee Ave., Fenton. Pastor Jim Wiegand officiating. Interment will follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton; and 10-11 AM Tuesday at the church. In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to the Freedom Center.
Jesse was born February 27, 1938 in Flint, the son of Jesse Francis and Nina Ruth (Gould) Moutray. He was a graduate of Utley High School. Jesse proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was married to Phyllis Harrison on September 28, 1963 in Flint. Jesse was a Tool and Die Welder at General Motors for 40 years. He was a member and Deacon at Freedom Center Church. Jesse was a painter and artist. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing.
Surviving are: children, Randy E. Moutray, Dianna D. (Skip) Sieradzki, and Michael (Kimberly) Moutray; grandchildren, Alan Sieradzki, Ryan Maddock, Kyle (Jennifer) Maddock, Jessica Sieradzki, and Blake Moutray; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Glasco.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Phyllis Moutray.
