Jerry Lynn HUFFMAN

HUFFMAN, Jerry Lynn, age 72, of Swartz Creek, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at McLaren Hospital. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Friday, April 13, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 12:00pm until time of service at the funeral home. Jerry was born July 17, 1939 in Flint. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and later was employed by General Motors as a tool and die maker until his retirement. Jerry was a Competition Cowboy Shooter, a member of the Wolverine Rangers and the Single Action Shooting Society. He was a NRA member and belonged to the American Motorcycle Association. Surviving are his 3 three sons, Shayne Huffman of Fenton, Shannon Huffman of Lake City, Shad Alexander of Milwaukie, Oregon. 4 grandchildren, Sarah Huffman of Marshall, MI, Lance Huffman of Copenish, MI, Tyler Huffman of Clio, Haley Huffman of Montrose; brother, Robert Ross Huffman. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family extends special thanks to McLaren Hospital, 6th floor nursing staff for their professional care and concern.
