Jerry Hnilica

HNILICA, Jerry - Age 75, of Linden, passed away November 1, 2021. Funeral services will be held 3PM Friday, November 5, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service Friday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Jerry was born February 6, 1946 in Flint, the son of Tony and Emma (Hasman) Hnilica. He married Sally J. Runyon on July 1, 1978. Jerry loved sports. He was an avid Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and U of M fan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was dedicated to his family. He is survived by his wife, Sally; children, Andrea (Jason) Brooks, Todd (Pam) Davis, Kevin (Zia) Williams and Tiffany (Pat); grandchildren, Curtis Hnilica, Alyssa Brooks and many more grandchildren; brother, Fred Hnilica and Brad "Peno" Hnilica; sisters, Susie (Doug) Pattan and Cindy Bendel; many nieces and nephews.
