BULLOCK, Jerry Clark, age 76, of Fenton, formerly of Swartz Creek, passed away, Friday, August 9, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. In accordance with Jerry's wishes cremation has taken place. A private gathering will take place at a later date with family and close friends. Jerry was born on February 11, 1943, in Flint the son of Mr. & Mrs. Lester and Lela (Brooks) Bullock. He was united in marriage to Ruby Barker on September 14, 1963 in Flint. Jerry worked as a truck driver for Grand Blanc Cement Product. Later he would begin working at his father-in-law's business at Eddie's Amusement Co. Jerry was a drummer for a band called the Continentals for many years. He enjoyed fishing and training his dogs for pheasant hunting. He is survived by two children: Denise Gibson and Kevin (Sally) Bullock; seven grandchildren: Kyle Gibson, Dylan Gibson, Andrew (Maryann) Bullock, Rachel (Nick) Bullock, Michael Gibson, Megan (Joe) Fondren and Jared (Sam) Gibson; six great-grandchildren: Brayden Bullock, Brysen Bullock, Adalynn Austin, Cooper Hall, Annabell Hall and Ethan Hall; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife: Ruby; parents: Lester and Lela Bullock; sister: Shirley Turnage; and aunt: Mary Brooks (Tinnie). Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
