Jerome Arasim

ARASIM, Jerome Walter - age 71, of Fenton, died Monday, October 12, 2015 at Genesee Care Center. Private services have been held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Mr. Arasim was born May 14, 1944 in Detroit, the son of Walter and Helen (Steifer) Arasim. He received a Bachelor degree from Central Michigan University and a Masters degree from University of Michigan. He also held an Educational Specialist Degree. Mr. Arasim married Magdalena Vasquez on September 10, 1966. He retired from Fenton Public Schools as an Assistant Principal in 1997 after 30 years of service. Mr. Arasim was an avid University of Michigan sports fan, he enjoyed traveling and building radio controlled models. Surviving are: wife, Magdalena; two daughters, Laura (Richard) Miller of CT, Maria Elena Hughes of Fenton; five grandchildren, Cameron, Joshua, and Noah Miller, Sydney and Aidan Hughes; brother, Ken (Barbie) Arasim of WA; sister, Nancy Arasim Krause of Dearborn; special nephew, Brad (Jennifer) Krause and many more nieces, nephews and cousins.
