Jenny G. Rousseau

Jenny G. Rousseau, age 83, of Flint formerly from Swartz Creek, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. There will be no funeral services at this time, the family asks that you continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Jenny was born in Flint, Michigan on August 2 ,1940 to the late William & Edna Fisher. She graduated from Flint Technical High School class of 1958. She married Donald "Don" Rousseau on August 8, 1959  and they raised their family in Swartz Creek. Jenny enjoyed painting and crafting; she and Don attended many craft shows throughout the years. She also was talented  with crochet and read many books. In her younger years she loved bowling and was on several women's leagues. When her children where young they camped throughout Michigan and had travels in several other states. Above all Jenny cherished time spent with her family and adored her grand and great-grandchildren. 

Jenny is survived by her 3 children, Laura (Brian) Lane; Heather (Rick) Waltrip and Adam Rousseau; 15 grandchildren, Donald, Robert, Jamie, Sam, Bailey, Griffin, Jared, Cheyenne, Tyler, Makayla, Evan, Jay, Connor, Adam and Jessica and 12 great-grandchildren.  Jenny is further survived by many other family members, nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don in 2011; sons, D. Shawn Rousseau and Corey Rousseau; grandson, Daniel Adams; great-granddaughter, Raelee and Jenny's sister, Lucille Thomas.
