Jennie Peterson

PETERSON, Jennie A. - age 69, of Fenton, died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her residence. Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton with Pastor Jeff L. Jaggers officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Fenton Adopt-A-Pet or Fenton United Methodist Church. Jennie was born March 3, 1946 in Hillsdale, MI, the daughter of Elmer and Velma (Taylor) Palms. She married Carl Peterson in 1972. Jennie retired from Bloomfield Hills Public Schools as a teacher. She was an active volunteer with Fenton Adopt-A-Pet and through her love of cats fostered and saved hundreds of kittens. She loved to travel with her husband and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are: husband, Carl of Fenton; two daughters, Kathryn Greening and husband, David White, Carly Campbell and husband, Nathan, all of Ann Arbor; three grandchildren, Eliana, Caroline and Sophie; sister, Deanna (Robert) Gaberdiel of Hillsdale.
