Jeffrey Lee WHETSTONE

WHETSTONE, Jeffrey Lee, age 47, of Rosebush, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 due to an automobile accident. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be Wednesday 3:00- 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Jeffrey was born August 1, 1963 in Flint. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1983-1990, including four years in Germany. He returned home and worked for CTS Unitel for many years. After moving to Rosebush he presently was employed in the IT department for the Soaring Eagle Casino. Jeff loved to cook, go to concerts, and numerous outdoor activities. He was a kid at heart and loved to have a good time. He will be missed so very much. Surviving are his brother, Will Whetstone of Clio and his children, Anna and Marcus; sister, Renee Whetstone of Flint and her cildren, Jacob and Sidney. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Anna Whetstone.
