Jeffrey Mitchell

MITCHELL, Jeffrey Allen - Age 63, of Flint, died Saturday June 13, 2020 at McLaren Hospital. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Jeffrey was born August 12, 1956 in Flint, the son of James Milo and Naomi Yvonne (France) Mitchell. He married Carol Brewer in Grand Blanc on December 10, 1977. Jeffrey enjoyed road trips on his Goldwing motorcycle and was a lifetime member of the G.W.R.R.A. He was a graduate of Bendle High School, class of 1975. Jeffrey was a auto mechanic for Flint Auto and Wright Brothers for many years and was a baker for Donna's Donuts for 10 years. His greatest job he had was being a grandpa to his granddaughters. He loved helping family and friends. Surviving are: wife of 42 years, Carol Mitchell of Flint; daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Walter of Swartz Creek; sons, Jeffrey Jr. (Bernice Cole) Mitchell of Dearborn Heights, Joseph Mitchell of Flint; granddaughters, Alison and Lillian and grand puppy, Hazel. He is also survived by his siblings, James (Tracey) Mitchell of KY, Jean Harkness of Mt.Morris, Janet (Gary) Hamm of FL, Kathleen Hedrick of OK, Christine (Michael) Isaac of OH, Maryland Mitchell-Goode of VA, Victoria Ferreira of VA; many nieces and nephews and dear friends Mel Gjon and Luciann Nikka.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Yvonne Anthony.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mel's diner for the Diner for the fellowship and the coffee.
