Bernard, Jeffrey Earl - age 66, of Swartz Creek, died March 20, 2024. Private burial services have already taken place. Jeff was born in Flint Michigan on October 21,1957 to Beverly and Allen (Ted) Bernard. Jeff was not dealt an easy hand in life, but somehow managed to handle it well. In 2009, after having muscled through many personal obstacles, he completed a hard and well earned Doctorate of Psychology, "Recovery with Schizophrenia: A Heuristic Investigation", from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology. Jeff was an intellectual and was amazingly creative with a wonderfully odd sense of humor. Those that had the honor of knowing Jeff knew these things. Jeff was the type of friend that always listened, tried to understand, and offered guidance; sometimes whether you wanted it or not. Jeff was a most loved uncle; he was caring and doting to his niece, Allie. He was a beloved brother, fun friend and mutual confidant to sister, Joni; so many shared memories and ridiculous pranks. He will be deeply missed.
