Jeffery Storms

STORMS, Jeffery Lane - Age 61, of Swartz Creek, passed away, Saturday, September 24, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (A live stream of the service will be available on Jeff's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Pastor Dale Pattee officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 PM and Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice.

Jeff was born June 6, 1961 in Flint, the son of Darwin Arthur and Mary Jane (Ringler) Storms.  He was a 1979 graduate of Swartz Creek High School.  He married Kimberly L. Elswick March 21, 2014 in Grand Blanc.  He had resided in Swartz Creek his entire life.  Jeff was employed by Metro Police Authority of Genesee County as a police officer since 1984.  He enjoyed boating and most of all, spending time with his family.

Surviving are: his wife, Kimberly; daughter, Amber (Roger) Beamer of Flushing; grandchildren, Brooke (Josiah), Makenzie, Brooklyn, Eli, and Aiden; sister, Linda Storms of Swartz Creek; brothers, David (Jackie) Storms of Ohio and Craig Storms of Lenox; niece, Ashley Storms of Lenox; and nephew, Daniel Storm of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darwin and Mary Storms; and in-laws, Ralph and Sandy Elswick.  The family wishes to extend special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice and the Metro Police Authority of Genesee County.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfunrealhomes.com.
