Jeffery Sak

SAK, Jeffery C. - Age 71, of Flint, moved to Heaven November 23, 2018. Celebration Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 1 at Mayfair Bible Church, 5339 W Pierson Rd, Flushing, Pastor Michael Breznau officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday at the church. Contributions may be made to the family. Jeff was born on March 4, 1947 in Flint, the son of Charles and Wanda (Mattison) Sak. He was a resident of Flint his entire life, graduating from Flint Central High School. Jeff served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969-1972. He married Nancy Corkran on August 9, 1968 in Flint. Jeff worked for Michigan Bell and McCloud USA. He was a member of: Mayfair Bible Church and joyfully sang in the choir for 37 years, Michigan Association of Professional Santa's (MAPS), and Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). Jeff was a Chaplain assistant at the Genesee County Jail. He shared the love of Jesus everywhere that he went. In later years he and his wife portrayed Santa and Mrs. Claus making many people happy over the years through their ministry. Surviving are: his beloved wife of 50 years, Nancy; children, Aura (Christopher) Phillips of Flint, Naomi (James) Bloser of Milton, NH, Emily (Jason) Piggott of Flushing, Abigail (David) Derby of Flint; ten grandchildren, Charles, David, Elijah, Rebekka, Xander, Cassie-Rose, Emmadell, Norah, Summer, Alexandria; sister, Sebyl (Joe) Motsinger; brothers, Judson Sak and James Sak. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location at the Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Rd.
